Can I do an MSc in biochemistry without doing a BSc in biochemistry?? I have already done my MBBS and I am a registered doctor in Mauritius... But I want to go into a research field... If I do an MSc in biochemistry won't I be at a disadvantage as compared to someone who has done a BSc in biochem prior to doing an MSc in biochem?

    Yes, you can.
No, you won't be at a disadvantage; though you might need to put more efforts to strengthen your Biochemistry skills.
    Good luck

Good advice above. We have a few doctors doing our scientific masters courses and as long as you are aware that you have to play catch up and put the effort in you'll be fine.
How are you feeling about your exams?
