I am extremely nervous about not getting the A level grades to get in to university, I was wondering if after completing my A levels and I did not achieve the grades that I could sit 1 AS level for a year to make up for the UCAS points that I failed at getting?

University admission isn't a case of totting up tariff points and automatically leveling up.

If you don't achieve the grades and your firm/insurance universities can't accept you with lower grades and you can't find anywhere you like in clearing then you need to speak to the universities you want to attend about what would be the best use of your gap year.
