So basically, if you're gonna kill someone, remember to do it with a car.

6 months for ending two lives and crippling and 4 year old.

This country is a joke when it comes to crime

No doubt he should get a more lengthy sentence but he wasn't intending to kill her. It wasn't a conscious decision of his to run over a heavily pregnant woman and kill her.

    He was speeding

He knew the car was not safe to drive

A warning came up telling him of the fault, yet he ignored it

He ended up speeding out of control which then led to the woman's death.

He clearly intended to break the law and as a result two people are dead.

I guarantee you the judge who passed the sentence had the same line of thinking as you. Doesn't matter if it was a concious decision or not. He broke the law and as a result two people are dead.

Its horrible as well to think what it must be like growing up without your mum especially when her children had formed an attachment already and knew her makes the lost even worse to handle. 6 months is a joke regardless if it was unintentional shouldn't matter he was aware of the faults as well as admitting to speeding over the limit. The sentencing is so weak and inconsistent in this country

I'm aware of all of this. I'm just saying that he wasn't intending to kill her because the previous comment suggested otherwise.

Tragic but it doesn't sound like he was going that fast, or driving terribly dangerously, it was accidental and he expressed remorse

However, people need to be aware that when they step into in tons of motorised metal, they are essentially arming a lethal weapon
