    Genuinely curious about it.

FYI: I'm not muslim or considering marrying a younger muslim guy.

Definitely. The prophets first wife was older than him, so it doesn't matter who's older.
And his second wife was a six year old, so quite frankly you've got both ends of the spectrum covered.

You link is blocked by my antivirus (it tells a lot about Islam :teehee:). I'll stick with Wikipedia.

OP, of course it's allowed. My Muslim friend is married to a woman 10 years older than him.

And to you, it's well known Aisha was 6 when Muhammad married here, this is the opinion of most Islamic scholars.

As far as I'm aware, there's no such restriction in Islam.

No it's not. Care to provide sources for this claim?

Because we believe that homosexuality is wrong, and that's fine. Some people believe that it's ok, and that's also fine.

I used it, but I didn't quote it.

Many scholars write on Wikipedia, you know. :ninja:

What do you know about him? You know crap all mate, crap all. Sitting behind your phone making silly comments. This was a man who fought for a religion - physically and spiritually. And today, he is perhaps the most revered person in the whole world.

He did what was right at the time. Like many things today we do would have been seen wrong even 50 years ago.

Ya my point was reasoning that's that arbitrary could easily be attributed to something like marrying older women as well, so there was no real need to be all "wtf was that" at OP.

I thought the Quran had only one true interpretation.... everything was written correctly and is 100% unquestionable?

According to Islam... if the Quran says she was 6 years old.... she was 6 years old, no ifs or buts.

Let's add this to the list of reasons why Islam is ridiculous, incompatible with the world and worthy of contempt, satire and criticism.

What, because someone asked a question about it? Delete your life.
