I'm a 22y/o English Lit undergrad applicant who's worked in Communications for a few years before deciding to apply to go back to uni. I had my heart set on Manchester but also applied for Durham as an unrealistic choice, fully expecting to be turned down.
Now I've received unconditional offers for both and I don't know what to do! I know that Durham blows Manchester out of the water for English in terms of 'prestige' and league table scores, but I absolutely adore Manchester's city/nightlife/student scene etc and am very familiar with it.

I'd love it if someone had any advice? Would it be absolutely crazy to turn down Durham for Manchester, or should I go with my heart?

Durham. If you're passionate about english Lit.

Manchester if you want to have your "nightlife and student scene" for 3 years.
