Solutions for body acne?

Wasup guys,

Luckily, im one of those guys who have had very little acne on my face. Im 16 years old, and for a year or so now i have had pretty bad acne on my upper back. Recently, i have also been getting some acne on my chest and shoulders as well.

I went to the doc's, and they gave me a cream which had no effect. If nobody has a real solution here, i will go again, but would rather avoid it as they dont seem to take my problem seriously lol.

I shower regularly, so i doubt its a hygienic problem.

Anyone had a similar problem?

Thanks!
2.5% benzoyl peroxide worked like magic for me. I'd tried so many things including stuff from the doctors but none of it worked. But yeah, this stuff is great! My main problem was my face but I have used it on my back too and it worked a treat. The only problem is that it bleaches, so when I was using it on my back I only used it at night and wore a white T-shirt. You can get it from www.acne.org

I occasionally get acne on my back and chest (but quite lightly), and I find that it happens less often when I use antibacterial soap like dettol.
If its bad and having used certain anti biotics and it still not improve, ask to be put on rouaccutane. thats the strongest stuff you can go one.

I think you can get one of those acne body washes like Clerasil or Oxy or something. Try those.
Rouaccutane is the ulimate anti-acne treatment. But it's expensive and it may have some not so nice side-effects.

Don't - they have no antibacterial effects whatsoever. My sister did a scientific study on them and they're about as helpful as water. Tea tree oil or benzoyl peroxide all the way, my friend.

I had acne on my upper back, doctor gave me a roll on called Zineryt or something and that cleared it up within 3weeks. Havent had a single spot since.

Go to the doctors again and say its not working. The will probably put you on antibiotics. Give it a go if the stuff they gave you the first time didnt work, they will put you on something different and better suited. Go doctors again.

Same.
i have suffered from bad acne in the past and i used the 5% benzyl peroxide and i was on antibiotics for a while they did clear them up but took a while. recently i have been using surgical spirit as i had them on my back and chest aswell. i have been using it now religiously every morning and night for a month and i definatly noticed a huge difference within the first 2 weeks of using it. it doesnt dry out ur skin although it does smell a little but it quickly fades. i would recomend it to anyone who was suffering with bad skin. its realy cheap you can buy it for about £2 from savers. definatly use it and let me know how u get on!

Panoxyl, works wonders on the face.
Perhaps not for the body... not sure.
Needs to be prescribed by your DOCT or a nurse.

mine was free. but yea side effects sucked cock, nose bleeds and dry skin.

my face is spotless, my back has one or two spots and it was some rather powerful stuff.

To not get spots on your back, the best method that I have been told is to not wash your hair backwards.

I use a mixture of bio oil and antibiotics, but I find the most effective thing is diet.

Having a good diet clears mine up a treat - give it a go, nothing to lose and plenty to gain.
