I am an international student from China, currently doing my A2 in the UK,and thinking to study medicine. I have applied this year but unfortunately failed. I am hesitated if I should take a gap year and reapply next year.
I am 19 now and I am worried I would be older than the people around me if I go to uni next year. (At least my friends have all been to uni,but I am still doing alevel. Really fell have been left behind)
Another thing is even I go to take gap year, I don't know what to do during that year.
I can do really well on maths, physics and chemistry, but not on biology. Do you guys think I should change my career?

Firstly, nobody cares if you're one year older at uni. It's not like school.
Secondly, gap years can be extremely expensive. I would suggest you find a job for it and save up money, which will make things a lot easier for you when you start uni.
