So I'm currently an ex-student who used to go to Bournemouth University, and I unfortunately had to drop out after the first year due to a combination of medical reasons and a failed unit. I still left University with 100 credits (out of the 120), and have fairly decent A-Level results from 2013.

Now, do the University credits put me in a better place alongside my A-Level results when re-applying to go back to University? I did Sports Psychology at Bournemouth, but am hoping to do Psychology, instead, somewhere else now, so am hoping that does count for something too.

I'm not planning to apply for Sept 2016 intake, I'd rather wait and just work and make some money in the meantime before going back.

You'd need to get in touch with uni's you want to go to and ask how they feel, you might even be able to aplly for credit transfer and just complete the final 20 credits of year 1 and go into year 2.

Do you mean Sept 2017 entry? The deadline has already passed for Sept 2016 entry, though some unis accept applications from mature students until March, and there is always UCAS clearing which you can apply for once the A-level results are announced in August.
