I started off doing psychology, geography, Latin, French, triple science, English lit and lang, maths, further maths, ICT and RS. I moved down to set 4 in maths so I didn't have to study further maths because the qualification was going too fast and I didn't understand what we were doing. That was definitely a good decision. I understood more in set 4 because there was more time and it was at a slower pace.

I later dropped Latin because it was just too much. I was at the point of failing the qualification entirely because I understood nothing. I couldn't grasp the grammar or the vocabulary. My efforts were better expended elsewhere.

I passed every GCSE I sat. How I passed ICT is anyone's guess. I did no work at all. Really, my pass begs the question what do you need to do to fail it?
