Disadvantages of studying at Oxford:
-Even though my classes are inter-/cross-collegiate, it's much much much easier to get involved in college life than it is to get involved in uni-wide societies.
-Speaking of the uni-wide societies, I found the selection of available societies at Exeter University to be far wider and not so undergrad-based (i.e. postgrads were made to feel more welcome) and communication (e.g. emailing) was often better too.
-Being forced to go catered really narks me off. In fact, I'm going to just give them the £60 overhead fees this term and feed myself because the food is **** for the money paid, and I'm not a little kid who needs to be told when to eat.
-While many of the people here are extremely intelligent, with this intelligence often comes arrogant ********edness (I have never seen anything like the behaviour at the OUCA dinner last term for example) and/or a complete lack of common sense (the number of people who apparently have no idea how to park a bike is just amazing).
-Work-wise, it sometimes feels like the staff expect more of you than is actually possible.
