I had study leave from my AS subjects for each one when I had finished the exams for it (all geography exams were in the first week so i had study leave from geography lessons after the first week of exams).

In what context are your teachers saying it, at my college I may get study leave for a day if there is some event which means my teachers can't make lessons.

Well one of my teachers was saying that we get ''time off'' for study leave but didn't specify what exactly that meant.

Last year for study leave at AS ours was from Friday 8th of May (the first AS exam was on the 11th) to something like Monday 8th of June, after all of the AS exams had finished. It might be different based on the school and also the dates of the AS exams this year though.
