Sad news that Harper Lee, author of 'to kill a mockingbird' has died aged 89.

What a fantastic author who really broke the mould and wrote something that will stand the test of time.

Hopefully she remembered for the classic that is To Kill a Mockingbird rather than the travesty that is Go Set a Watchman

Sad news but I'm happy that she was able to see work become so adored in her lifetime, I think that is every writers dream

Oh man. TKAMB was such a good book and I didn't appreciate it enough when I was studying it for y11 but damn, she'll be remembered.
