I've only just started revising for my GCSE's today do you think I still have a chance of getting good grades (a/a*)??

That depends on a lot of factors, but it definitely isn't too late to start revision in order to get those grades! When I did my GCSEs, most people didn't start proper revision until May or even later.

The quality of revision is more important than the quantity. Be sure you're using your time effectively. I recommend past papers- use these to gauge your progress and identify areas you need to work on. Work on the areas you're finding more difficult using a variety of techniques (and make them active, reading notes or copying them out verbatim is too passive), and do test questions to ensure that you understand. Don't be afraid to ask your teachers for help.

    Best of luck!
