My son's school introduced IGCSE (Maths) this year. Can anyone perhaps comment on how the IGCSE syllabus differ to syllabus of GCSE? Also, how does the level of difficulty of the IGCSE exam questions differ to the level of difficulty of GCSE exams (Maths)? Thank you in advance for any comments/sharing experience.

As for as i remember if he is doing Edexcel its quite alot different the style of papers are not the same

i wouldnt compare the 2 just go through the iGCSE content and past papers as there are lot in the public domain..

Thank you so much - this document is really helpful. Explains why there are some "unexpected to me" questions in the mock exam papers my son brought home....

    Thanks :-)
