IB Biology - Paper 1

DO NOT TALK ABOUT THE PAPER UNTIL 24 HOURS.

I am just asking a question which has noting to do with the contents of the exam paper.

The Multiple choice paper was meant to be done in pencil on the answer sheet, however, i did it in PEN, as we were not told:frown: , and i have never done a multiple choice using a seperate answer sheet.

Does anybody know what will happen??? Have u herd of this happening before??

I told the lady incharge of our school examinations, and she said it should be OK. Can anybody Please confirm this????????????

i've heard that too... it's because it goes into the computer, it's not graded by the examiners

well we didn't get given the yellow answer sheet till the end. Our exam woman didn't realise. First I did it on the actually question sheet ...then those lined IB answer sheets ....and then we got given the proper answer sheets at the end =/

i thought there was something funny going on when we strtd circling stuff on the exam paper that dint even have our names on the front!

If you did it in pen, why didn't you go over the pen marks in pencil afterwards? The machine cannot read the pen marks, so they do no harm, as long as you have the pencil marks there, too.

Maybe your coordinator will go over them in pencil?

I've heard of someone having to go over their pencil-written math exam in pen, so maybe it's done the other way around, too...

It's possible that they mark them by hand at the IBO if they see the machine give a 0. I wouldn't count on this, though.

Ask your IBC to inform the ibo of this mishap...

I spoke to the IBC straight after i realised (after paper 1 and before paper 2) (we had a 10 min break), so i told her and she said it should be ok but she will check.

She then told me after the paper 2 exam that it will be fine and not to worry!!!!!!!

But i cant stop thinking about it.

I thought the thing was that the exam is done in pencil not because the machine can't read pen (it probably can) but so you can change answers and the machine will still know which one you mean..

well, i hope this is the case!!!

I only needed to scribble one of my marks out and change it...
