    HI all,

I am Lakshmi , an overseas pharmacist from India. I am currently in Australia doing my internship and about to secure registration as a pharmacist. I am planning to move to the UK in a couple of months and I do not know about the job prospects in the UK. Realised that I have to do some exams, uni and preregistration again to work as a Pharmacist there. I know its a lengthy process again to work as a pharmacist. Any other alternatives in the pharmacy field that i can gain access to so that I dont need to restudy for another 2 years or so

Any suggestions would be highly appreciated

    Thanks again

I would suggest applying to Canada/US and pass their exams. Yes it might be harder but the financial rewards are much better.

Pharmacy as a profession is going to the dogs in the UK, funding cuts and pharmacy closures are coming. So I would advise against moving here.
