I am currently completing a social work graduate scheme called Frontline. I am still in my first year, and qualify in Summer 2016. Following that, I have been offered to do my ASYE year with my current local authority, working in Care Planning for Children and Families. My passion, however, lies in adult social work, I worked as a Care Manager for 6 years prior to starting the Frontline scheme. My question is, will I be less likely to be able to secure a job in Adult Services in the future, due to completing my ASYE in children’s social work?
