Everyone seems to hate me at the moment.

Ok everyone seems to hate me at the moment. My ex, ok i get why he hates me i broke up with him, pretty obvious, but about the rest. People who are supposed to be my mates stop talking in the middle of msn convos and ignore me without going offline and sometimes they don't talk to me at all. My otherf friends donlt answer my calls aor donlt repley to my texts, the only people who have stayed reasonably friendly to me are my housemates and i don't understand why everyone suddenly hates me or am i just imagining it?

possibly down to stress both things on your mind stress exams are for one modern times for another make the best of things as and when they happen!!

Awww you poor thing it cant be nice feeling like that!Im sure you are just imagining it,you've not done anything for them too suddenly start disliking you.They are most probably revising and preparing for exams.I hope you feel better soon :hugs:

Sometimes when we have a situation where one or two friends turn on us a little.. a paranoid tendency can kick in leading us to believing that everyone is against us. This is certainly not true and you should realise that any worthwhile friend would not just turn on you like that.

I 'm not gonna say that your just imagining it because of the situation ur in ex not beeing so nice to you, it might just be possible that you have become more sensitive to these things and start over analysing social situations.

I dont think it's as bad as you think. Sometimes the same happens to me it cud just mean theyr'e busy or see u pretty much every day so dont feel the need for long convos and long-winded goodbyes on msn.

I know what you mean,perhaps the negative vibes from your break up with your ex are affecting how you feel about everyday situations in the other parts of your life as well? That's probably the culprit, I'm sure your friends certainly DON'T hate you at all. The whole msn and phone and texting communication is never very reliable, especially msn,some people genuinely forget to reply (I know I do!) and go offline suddenly /internet fails etc. Perhpas your friends don't have credit to text you back? and they don't pick up your calls due to revision stress or just forgetting their phone. These are all little things that make me paranoid when my friends do it but admitedly I am guilty of myself without even realising it. I know it's tough for you, but don't beat yourself up about splitting up with your boyfriend(not saying you were already btw) but the more you try and forget about things that you MAY feel guilty about ,the more you can move on and become happier and more social

It is probably just because it is exam time but I know how you feel. I went through a bad patch once as a teenager where I thought everyone hated me but it turned out I was just imagining it. I can't remember exactly but I think it was linked to exam stress or something similar.
