    Hey guys!

I took my pill on time and half an hour later I drank alcohol (because I was at a bday party). Between 10pm-12am I ate some food and then later I threw up at around 5am; by 9 am I coughed a bit and im not sure if I threw up a bit in my mouth or had copious amounts of mucus but, needless to say, i didnt throw up in the toilet again and nothing exited my mouth.

I am aware you need to take another pill when you throw up. it says on my leaflet about 4 hours. But its been nearly 10 hours when I threw up and I was wondering whether the alcohol and the food I threw up might have affected my pill? I've been ill with flu as well, so I've been coughing up a lot of mucus within minutes taking the pill.

I took another pill as I thought, better safe than sorry, at around 12 (7 hours after my initial throw up and 3 hours from the gagging/cough episode). Ill be taking my pill normally again later on tonight.

Nope, you will have absorbed the necessary hormones long before the ten hours.

Taking another pill as a one off won't be a problem.
