No, it's not too late. If you start tomorrow and keep up the effort you'll be successful.

I'd say that's too early lol i'm only gonna start revision in the easter holidays. I tried revising really early for my mocks and i ran out of stuff to do the week before the mocks so my last min revision wasn't detailed enough so i ended up forgetting everything and then having to re-learn everything the night before

Is 9 GCSE enough or should I have more to get into an excellent sixth form and a Russell group university?

Honestly, I think you're fine. I started really working for my GCSES in the Easter holidays, then I stopped and didn't start again until the beginning of May. I managed to get 1A* 11A and 1B. If you work consistently from now, you'll do amazingly well. Good luck

Well I was joking a little, but I started in January (but only small amounts) and this half term I have powered through doing over 3 hours revision a day. To be honest though, as long as you put in the right number of hours (I think it's 15 - 30 hours overall per subject to really know the subject) then you should be fine. However, revising through the holidays is definitely something you should do.
