To feel like you are content to be single forever and feel scornful towards those in relationships? Or is it simply being bitter and twisted?

A lot of people feel like that. I guess by that token you can call it "normal", but people biologically are designed to seek out partners. Perhaps subconscious jealousy?

Another phase of life that I'm sure you'll pass through and come out the other side just fine. I feel content to be single forever, but I wouldn't say scornful towards those in relationships, just makes me remember how lonely I am.

Its perfectly fine to be happy to be single, but to be scornful towards others in relationships is just bitter.

In my opinion, in the current world of etiquette, and the millions of do's and don'ts in a relationship - it's much easier, and perfectly normal I think. Not to mention the bad times, and all the **** ups you will invariably make as a man.

Shame I'm in love.
