    Hello 😊
I've visited Lancaster and I loved it but I've not visited Surrey. Lancaster is however, a lot further away. Obviously I would rather live closer to home but it's not a major thing for me, I'd much rather like to uni and enjoy the course!

    Hello 😊

If you can, definitely make time to visit Surrey. I think it's super hard to actually firm a uni you've never been too. I moved to Birmingham from Brighton which is 4 hours on the train and that was fine for me, but everyone's different. If Surrey is closer to home and you think that being nearer to your folks and friends is important then you really should check it out. If you love the course as much as Lancaster's then that is a huge bonus and it could be a better option for you. The other bonus is that Surrey is close to London which would would be good for placement options too.

Surrey don't have any open days but just checked and they do run campus tours every Wednesday which you can book on to. http://www.surrey.ac.uk/visit/campus-tours/

You could also contact the admissions team and see if it is possible to meet someone from the course i.e. a lecturer as you missed the open day.

The more thorough you are now by doing the research the more confident you'll feel in making a decision
