    I think on your own it is very difficult, especially for young people. If you're with a couple of trustworthy people it's much easier in that you have less to lose if things go south. Still, getting the right advice from the right people when you're young can be really difficult. Not many people will have experts in their social groups at a young age etc

    Greater competition and market saturation has made it harder overall.

    But a great idea, will always be a great idea. And if executed correctly, will be the product that makes you a successful businessman.
