I'm doing as geography this year as well, and so far my teachers have me targeted at an A at AS and an A* overall.
For me, I've found that past papers are key. Keep doing past papers, and read examiner reports. My physical geography teacher is an examiner and his advice and tips are more valuable than a regular geography teacher! Examiners reports are also a sneaky way to predict questions - chances are if a question was answered badly one year, it will be on the next paper.
Condensing down information is important also. Mind maps with relevant facts and figures for case studies are important as well as flash cards. Quizlets is good to make digital flash cards and also offers tests etc.
Simply reading the textbook/teachers notes is never enough, eventually you'll just be staring at a page and nothing will be absorbed.
I hope this helps a lot! :-)
