Hi all, I am looking at going over to study Archaeology or Anthropology in Canada potentially aiming for 2017 start.

Could anyone help me with understanding how units/courses work in Canada. I am very interested in the University of Calgary but I can't quite figure out how their tuition costing works. On their graduate fees website (http://www.ucalgary.ca/pubs/calendar...tion-fees.html) it seems to state that the cost per 6 units of study is $3,245.28. On the Program website (http://www.ucalgary.ca/pubs/calendar...logy-arky.html) it appears that the course requirment is 12 units. Does this mean that the whole tuition cost would be $6490.56 as this seems low compared to other places I have looked.

Thank you in advance for any help and apologies if I've just missed something obvious here.

It says you also have to pay a differential fee? I'm not exactly sure, you should ask them but it seems like what you are saying about the tuition fees is right!

According to the link below, it appears to be correct.
    Code:
    http://www.ucalgary.ca/pubs/calendar/current/p.html
You also have to factor in the general fees, which looks like it adds on 1683.23CAD.

Like what Okorange has said, it would be better to ask the admissions office to double check.
