Look at the uni league tables for history

Look at league tables, read through each of the course requirements, course content, and then look at fees, accommodation prices etc, as these can really alter decisions for uni choices!

Look at entry requirements (although I'm sure your predicted grades are good enough for them all)
Then look at the modules at each uni to see which ones are most of interest to you. If you'd like to do a term/year abroad or a study year, look at the unis that offer it or perhaps a particular aspect of history you're interested in such as ancient history/medieval etc..
Research student satisfaction. Attend applicant days. Some people say they fall in love with the uni and are sure that's where they'd like to go after visiting. I strongly recommend you visit every uni you're interested in. I wish I had.
Research social life / location of the unis you want to consider.
Look at employability rates at each uni.
Think of finances. You can see roughly how much SF you'll be entitled to on the online estimate calculator:
With this information, you can look at the accommodation prices for each uni and whether you'd realistically be able to afford it. Would also be an idea to look at the scholarships/bursaries that are on offer. Some unis offer a £2k scholarship for students who achieve academic excellence e.g AAA-AAB at A level.Last edited by cherryred90s; 21-02-2016 at 18:47.

Step one: Check which University is best in Chemistry.
Step two: Study Chemistry.
Step three: Become a Chemist.
Step four: Try to become a comedianne on the side.
Step five: Fail to become a comedianne on the side.
Step six: Lose your job as a Chemist and be forced to go into a life of crime.
Step seven: Fall into a bat of chemical waste.
Step eight: Realize you're now disfigured.
Step nine: Buy a purple suit.
Step ten: Terrorize Gotham and fight Batman until the end of your days.
