Drama prop help please!!

Hello,

I am doing a drama duologue in 2 weeks. The play is set in a pub and the scene we are doing becomes quite heated and tense requiring glasses to be smashed, obviously I can't smash real glass as it is dangerous, so...

Is there anything I can use as an alternative that is a bit safer, maybe plastic or something?

Please help!! Or redirect me to a prop website that can help??

Full disclaimer that I haven't done drama since year nine, so have no experience at all of what sort of things you're allowed to use :tongue:

, but isn't sugar glass made entirely for this purpose? I've no idea of what the cost of that could be, but you might even be able to make it yourself.
