    Hi guys,

Just writing this post as a plea of help. How exactly do I find out my overall average of my first year?
    These are my appalling results:

    Introduction to Law: 1st (70%)
    Legal Research Methods: 2:2 (54%)
    Public Law: 3rd (49%)
    Criminal Law: 3rd (47%)
    Property Law: 2:2 (52%)
    Admin Law: 2:1 (63%)

What is the average of these results?

Additionally, considering my final year accounts for the all of my mark (Employers still see my transcripts from 1st year)-- Will they look less favourably towards me because of my 1st year module results?

    Thank you all so much

Surely it's just all the marks added together divided by number of marks. So 335/6 is 58%. If that's what you meant anyway, which isn't too bad depending on how much effort you put in. I know a lot of people do just enough to progress to year 2 and that's when they start working hard. Hope this helps
