I want to apply for post-graduate funding for a course at a Scottish Uni.

I am from England and received funding from SFE for my undergraduate course, I graduated in July, and have now lived in Scotland (not as a student) for 7 months. I would like to know if I am able to apply through SFE for my post-graduate? as surely I am still an English student?

I have been told I would not receive SAAS funding as I have not lived in Scotland for long enough as a non-student.

please help, I need funding from somewhere!

I'd definitely say you're still classed as English, I have friends at Scottish unis who are funded by SF. It's more post grad funding you probably need to look into. I was reading that from August 2016 you can get funding of up to £10,000 for post grad study, but whether that's enough depends on how much the course costs and whether you plan to do it full time/part time and work. Your best bet would be to contact SF or do some research via UCAS. If you've visited any open days, can the unis not help you with any of this?
