I have exactly 12 weeks till my AS exams. Even thought I stated the academic year off with a lot of motivation, I seem to have lost it all. I would like to know how people just get on with work with procrastinating and how they manage to keep themselves motivated. Any input is greatly appreciated.:danceboy:

If you need to get motivated, it's not gonna pan out well. Forget being motivated.

    Remember:
    1) Doing well will open up the doors for you in life that you always wanted. You can build your own dream life.
    2) Would you rather walk away on results day feeling fantastic and proud at your hard work? People will look up to you for being industrious with your academic life. How about your parents, would it make them happy? Or do you prefer doing meh in the exams and having months of agony thinking about how well you did, before having your worst fears confirmed on results day and realising that you have essentially limited yourself in what you can achieve?

So, it's up to you. People on here don't even have time to motivate each other. I'm just giving you a heads up. Gonna go back to studying myself because I am going to build the life I want and the world I want.

You've literally just summed up my situation I want nothing more than to do well, but I literally can't get myself started to revise. Try and get yourself as organised as possible, sort out all your notes, neat piles etc. Make lists of what you need to accomplish and break everything down into small tasks.
