Hi guys, so to make a long story short, Im in a predicament that I'm not sure how to handle.
I've been talking to a guy and everything was fine and dandy until he brought it to my attention that he likes me but its complicated with his ex. Of course that put me off so I told him I'll give him time to sort himself out BUT don't expect me to wait on you. Anyway, we stopped talking after a while because I wasn't prepared to stress myself because of his dilly dallying lol. We started talking again as I had to ask him a question and I found out that he was in hospital as he was stabbed. I went to visit him, we caught up, we talked things out and he asked me if I wanted to be his gf. I didn't have an answer so I told him when he's out we can talk about it properly (that gives me more time to know what to say)
I like him, he's an alright bloke but from an outsiders perspective where do you think I'm at with this situation. Its easy to say if you like him go for it but sometimes just b/c you like someone doesn't mean it will work out in a relationship. Then again, who knows?
What should I say? Watch

Seems a bit quick (for my personal tastes) to go from just talking to the guy to him asking you to be his girlfriend. I mean have you even really gone out on a date or spent much time together? I don't know, that's just me.
Anyone you reasoning of " Its easy to say if you like him go for it but sometimes just b/c you like someone doesn't mean it will work out in a relationship." a void point really. No relationship is guaranteed to work out, we get out of relationships what we (and the other person) put into them. So there is no sense not trying for fear it might not work out.
I don't think there is anything specific you should say. But maybe give it a chance if you want to and see where it goes? But there is no need to jump in the deep end immediately.
