Worried about sex.

I'm an 18 year old virgin and I've been seeing my bf for a few months now, we're really close and I think I'm ready to lose my virginity to him. Over the past few months we've done other sexual stuff, I've given him handjobs and blowjobs. The thing is, I've seen the size of his penis when it is erect and it worries me a little. He's fingered me and it doesn't really hurt, but I know that there is no way that his penis could...you know... fit. Is this a common worry or am I being overanxious? What happens if it hurts too much? I'm really freaked out.

Just think of it this way, if a baby can come out of there, I'm sure you know what can fit in there...And if it hurts too much, you can tell him to stop.

Don't worry, unless it's superly massive it'll fit. It might be a bit painful the first time, but it usually is for everyone regardless of penis size.

ah, god does this bring back fond, but arkward memories. My first gf was naturally quite tight, and when we first had sex (both virgins at this point) it took a fair bit of repositioning, slowing down etc, but to this day, maybe because of the tight fit, was one of the best times for me ever, physically at least.

Don't worry about it, it will be fine.

Losing your virginity, is more often than not painful. The size of the mans penis doesn't matter, if it's going to hurt then it will hurt.

Take it slowly, use some lube to help things along and it should be fine. Try not to worry, stressing about it will make you more tense and make things more difficult.

I had the same situation. You will be okay even if it does seem scary now. I know I was really nervous when my boyfriend and I went through this. It was uncomfortable the first few times, but the key is plenty of lube and go slowly. Now I find him just right and its great.....*blushes*

You'd be surprised. I know it doesn't seem to make any sense but somehow everything works eventually!

Lube Lube Lube Lube Lube

Go get some KY and take it slowly, don't rush into anything and you'll be fine

i mean i have just recently lost it. i mean i didnt use lube, you gotta take it slow. i mean i was really anxious. but i mean one thing i would say, you gotta relax, not panic and make sure its the right time. because the more relaxed are you, the easier it is.

I don't like to ask this as it seems a little crude, but, er ... how many fingers does your boyfriend use? You could ask him to put more in to see how it feels. That's kind of how I was "trained" (ha ha) for sex, and my first time ended up not hurting really at all.

Oh my god, why the fascination with 'I mean...'? There are other ways to start a sentence.

Yes it is a common worry, and I don't think you're being over-anxious! I would say most girls worry about it the first time! Personally, I couldn't understand how anything like that could fit up when a finger barely would... but it does in the end! It'll probably be a bit painful, but you can always ask to slow down or stop, and your boyfriend should understand...

Just calm down, don't be afraid to ask 'can we stop?', and enjoy it!

As others have said:

It's normal
Use lube
It will fit!!!!
It might hurt
You are in control and if you want to stop, say so. Even to this day with my boyfriend if either of us say stop then we immediately do.
Take it slow
Take it steady
Do plenty of foreplay before hand
Have a glass or two of red wine  Seriously it makes you feel horneier aswell as more relaxed.
Talk to your boyfriend about it before hand
Try a different position if one doesn't feel comfortable or doesn't work.
Set the mood with lighting, music etc

Most of all, if it doesn't work don't get upset or moody, give your boyfriend a kiss and hug and just cuddle up in bed, if it does work, enjoy it!

Be prepared for a little bit of pain but if it really hurts then stop (Wine will help with pain aswell  ) Also you may bleed a little after.

Oh and use a condom!!!!!!

The size of his penis does affect how hard or easy it will be. Maybe ask him for his size or measure him. Anything with a girth between 4-5.5" won't be that hard to take.

Are you scared of the length or the girth? He doesn't have to put it all the way in. And work up to it. Fingers, then little vibrators and then eventually the penizzz

It took three months when I devirginized my ex. But after that she really loved it.

It can DEFINITELY fit in there! You have nothing to worry about. Just make sure you feel emotionally ready and take your time when it comes to the act itself. You should be fine if you don't rush things and he knows to be patient.
