I have severe OCD and was wondering what help I can get with disabled student allowance? If anyone has any experience it would be much appreciated.

A mental health mentor and equipment and possibly exam adjustments I would think, it all depends on how it effects your ability to study.

It would depend on your specific difficulties, OCD can manifest in a lot of different ways. Some examples might be:
    - covering the cost of a different/more expensive room if you need one e.g. need an en suite, can't share a kitchen, can't be catered (if this is the case get in touch early so they can reserve you an appropriate room)
    - mentor
    - note taker
    - dictaphone to record lectures if you struggle to take notes/concentrate

    non financial things could be:
    - exam access, small room/extra time
    - extensions on coursework

They will only pay for things you have as a disabled student and not everyday disability things or things that other students need.
