The Meaning of Liff: Create Your Own Word watch

    To those of you who haven't heard of 'The Meaning of Liff', the idea here is that you create a word that you think the English language is currently lacking.

    For example:

    Aboyne (vb.): To beat an expert at a game of skill by playing so appallingly that none of his clever tactics or strategies are of any use to him
    So, what would be your words?

    Don't forget that the original book used place names. We've used Tibshelf (one of those sets of shelves that young girls keep knick-knacks on) in our family ever since the book came out. (A friend bought me one of the first printings...)
