So I'm currently in search of a prom dress

My parents say that I'm only going to wear it once, so there's no point in buying an expensive dress, but the only nice ones I can find are... not cheap!

Is it worth it to buy an expensive dress for prom?
If not, where can I find cheaper dresses?

try 'asos' or miss selfridges'. you can try 'forever unique' too, but they're quite pricey. topshop occasionally have some nice dresses that'd do for prom

I got mine from ASOS, they have tons to choose from and there's a lot that's quite cheap. Also since you're only going to wear it once, you can always sell it afterwards like on depop or something
