Anybody had an interview for a doctorate in counselling psychology?

Hi,

I have an interview coming up for a doctorate in counselling psychology at UEL, I don't really know what to expect and I am quite nervous as there is a reflexive essay exam and an interview with two examiners.

Has anyone been the through the experience at UEL or another University and can provide me with any advice for preparing?

Make sure you're prepared to answer why you, why the uni, why the program or project, why a PhD, what your career plans are and have some questions prepared too.

Hi Wanderlust, just wondering if you have had your interview and how it went? I have an upcoming interview for the counselling psychology doctorate at Glasgow Caledonian and I am feeling much the same!

I've tried to prepare the usual general postgrad questions I am just worried about any specifics related to the course.

Any help would be greatly appreciated :smile:
