So i have had a crush on one of my male friends (who i have known for years) for about half a year now
Over the past few months i knew that his interests had grown too as we were flirting more often and made it clear that we liked each other although we did not state it
Yesterday we had our long anticipated first kiss, we had many tense moments before but for the first time we actually kissed ( he went in for the kiss )
The kiss itself was great (i was sightly intoxicated as i had some alcohol although he was completely sober)
Since the kiss I feel like he has been avoiding conversation with me, we would usually talk constantly on a day to day basis as we are or were good friends

Does this necessarily have to mean that he is not interested and maybe regrets the kiss or could it just be him trying to gather his thoughts or anything else? What could I do about this?

(We are both 21 years old)

    At 21?!

Sounds like he finds it awkward as he tries to climb over the razor wire to escape the Friend Zone...
