But then that is also codifying for the sake of codifying, something I disagree with even more

    That is indeed a dilemma.

And yes, interpretation and flexibility are very good for the House. Gosh golly, do we agree on something?

Seriously. What's so unbelievable about that, comrade?
If it was the Tory party she had the dupe in then I'd understand the anger, but it was in the Libs - not that bad. As I stated earlier, it'd be like America having spies in Ireland - not much of a threat, not much point. With the Tories it'd be a completely different matter.

She was Deputy Leader of our party though, and had huge influence in atleast 3 coalition negotiations

It doesn't matter which party she was in. Duping completely undermines the point of private sub-forums. It is also in direct breach of house rules and the GD. It is a flagrant attempt to gain an advantage in the house and should be stopped at all costs.

Including, let's not forget, the collapse of the Lib-Lab pact last term.

I remember having almost all of my contact during that time through G_P.

I won't lie, most of us weren't happy because you guys were obviously dominant given the seat split at the time. However, it probably would have been a lot more amicable without GP

As we're in Government, of course There's still stuff we'll obviously disagree on, but for the most part we've reached a point where we're both happy towards legislation fairly well. Our relationship with you guys is a lot better than it was last term, as last term you guys had a few...dodgy members

I hope we can agree that it only the Conservative and UKIP parties which contain 'dodgy' members.

I think every party (apart from my own as my own is <3) has members I don't always agree with, but no one in the house currently was as bad as the two or three Labourites from last term that have all disappeared since

How are you going to justify the 'broad church' comments next time?

Also, you know you and I always see perfectly eye to eye.

An increase in seats could cause a multiplier effect imo. More seats mean more party members having to take seats, so they spend more time on TSR, increasing activity across the board.
A few extra seats here and there isn't that bad, and it could increase the number of by-elections, keeping activity high.

Or they go from barely coming on TSR, to coming on for their 5 minutes every 4 days to vote that is required to actually maintain a good record.
