I know about Mr Birling, I just want to know about Sybil
Thanks anyway
Omg I remember doing 'An Inspector calls' during GCSEs. All I remember is 'An Inspector Calls':colonhash:
yep she is
Yeah, she is a capitalist. She follows her husband, and she's of a higher class, so like, it shows the generation gap. She's unwilling to change her mind about things unlike her kids. Opposites; her children are socialists. She disagrees with them etc. Shows more hope in younger gen.

Thats what i was taught anyway idk

Haha yes it certainly is! I loved it back in the days tbf!
Does anyone know how the exam for inspector calls works? Am I right in thinking no copy's of the book will be within the exam? I'm finding memorising the most important quotes and information difficult.

You get a copy of the book in the exam, it's just totally blank (i.e. not annotations) so you have to know the quotes pretty well.

The exam itself has two questions based on two books (we have two on an inspector calls and one of of mice and men). The inspector calls part will have one question in which you're asked about something specific like how is Mrs Birling portrayed as a capitalist. The other question will be more general about the whole book and all the characters, something like how does Priestley portray capitalism in the book.

Just revise all the important quotes and themes and you'll be fine:smile:
