    For 8(b), the very last question, I'd have thought accompanied by a diagram specific to that part of the question that either 45 degrees or 135 degrees from the horizontal is valid. I'd have thought a bearing would also be valid too. It didn't specify how they wanted it to be given.

    Can someone explain why I got 1.7N something for F2.

    I am 100% my trigonometry was right so I used the sine rule to find F2 and I got 1.7 on one side. What did I have to do with this 1.7?????
    I set up a pair of simultaneous equations:

    F1+F2=R => ( - i + j ) + k( i + j ) = a( i + 3j ) I can't remember the vectors given exactly, this is what I think.

    Then equate i components: -1 + k = a
    Then equate j components: 1 + k = 3a and solve for k.

    Woops, didn't see the root5. You'd probably lose the accuracy marks - but as long as there is working, you should get some M marks.

    How did people generally find this paper? Difficult? OK? Easy?

    And how long does Arsey usually take to get the solutions up?

    How did people get 3Ns for the Impulse??

    I = mv - mu

    I = (0.4)(4)-(0.4)(-4) = 3.2Ns

    Idk
