    Hey guys,

I'm an international student holding offers from Leeds - Msc Consumer analytic and marketing strategy and Newcastle - Msc International Marketing. I previously hold a degree in architecture (not much background in business)
Was wondering which would be more employable? and if it matters to companies that Leed's course isn't CIM recognised.

I'm leaning more towards Leeds for its reputation and because its more practical as the modules are heavily based on data. Would it still be possible to switch to marketing in the future?

    Thank you

The course at Leeds is very specific. Are you sure that's the branch of Marketing you want to go into?

I don't see why not! More and more, we're seeing that marketing is becoming more data driven, with the traditional marketing aspects, e.g. advertising being outsourced to specialist agencies. A data-heavy course may be interesting for job prospects.

    Thank you for replying Aceadria!

I'm not too sure if marketing analysis is the area I really want because of the lack of experience I have on hand now. But I've been doing loads of research on the modules offered and the job criteria for an analysis - seems really interesting. I'm just worried because the course is relatively new and it isn't CIM recognised.

Seeing that i'm international, getting a job in the UK now would be really difficult. ): Hoping with the expertise of this MSc I might be more employable.

    Any thoughts?

How do you see previous study in architecture has made you go for marketing and what will you do after the masters? Possibly an MBA might be more suitable, just saying.
