    I am currently studying AS chemistry and I would really appreciate if a couple of you could think of 5 questions for the topic of organic chemistry to help me apply my knowledge?

    1. Carboxylic acids are weak acids.

    a. State the meaning of the term weak as applied to carboxylic acids.

    b. Write an equation for the reaction of propanoic acid with sodium carbonate.

    2. This question is about Brønsted–Lowry acids.

    a. State the meaning of the term Brønsted–Lowry acid.

    b. Write an expression for the acid dissociation constant Ka for ethanoic acid.

    3. Suggest an alternative name for the term acidity regulator and explain how a mixture of lactic acid and sodium lactate can act as a regulator when natural processes increase the acidity in some foods.
