Biology, definitely.

Hardness and crapness, Biology FTW!
Biology, no intuiton and just a load of of approximations and learning lists, i prefer being a social recluse so i can enjoy physics.
Reply 5
Definitely Biology.

I don't think any of the sciences are "worst" but I do prefer physics and chemistry over biology.
Reply 7
Chemistry, to be fair though it's not that bad it's just I prefer physics and biology.

Biology. Just the thought of it makes me sick.
I like biology! i think physics and chemistry are the hardest though. defiantely physics, thats just arrrghhh

I've studied biology and physics and chemistry to A levelish sort of level, Biology/Chemistry A'levels and an OU Cert of nat. science, with emphasis on the physics blocks. And I honestly say that physics is much harder. Worst is a matter of perspective, for example I'm chosing to study a physics degree next year because A) I am fascinated by the subject and B) I like a challenge. There are no bad sciences just bad students  or should I say students who are not very good at the subject and thus dislike it, that might sound a bit insulting.

Biology- too much learning.
biology. physics and chemistry are far more integral.

I disagree. I did better in Biology than Chemistry and Physics at AS Level, but dropped Biology cause it was pants tbh. As the above poster said: the other two sciences are far more integral.

Biology is easily the worst of the lot, I find it soo damn boring. However, I enjoy Physics and could revise it all day. Chemistry could be quite tough at times though.
Physics is the hardest science subject, but from my own personal experience biology is definitely the worse science subject you can study at A-level, Biology involves too much learning whereas chemistry is more analytical and much more fun.

I certainly didn't find Physics the hardest at A-Level, actually I think it was probably by far my easiest, mainly because as you say, Chemistry is very analytical (with a fair bit of learning) and Biology is just lots and lots of learning, whilst Physics is far more about understanding and application.

Try degree level physics, it makes A-level look like a cake walk from what I've seen so far. You have to be very fluent in calculus, algebra and vector/tensor analysis and there is a shed load of stuff to learn as well. And you'll probably find out that what you learnt at A-level was either a very crappy basic picture or just plain wrong when you look at something in depth.

A level question

Using Snells law work out by how much light is slowed in medium A.

Degree level.

Using the properties of the lattice structure of glass, work out how the group velocity of x is affected by glass.

I never meant to assert that all people who drop a subject are bad at it k that came out bad, I agree if you find something crappy then you wont do it either.

Biology is definitely :nn:
The polls reflect this-doesnt it?
chemistry is just sooo lovable  .
And as for physics, I have no comment. The very 1st teacher who taught me madeit worse than it seems:mad:

I take chemistry and biology.
Used to love chemistry but advanced higher ruined it for me.

I loooove biology!!

So I'm going to pick physics even although I love astronomy and cosmology and a lot of it does look very interesting... it's just that I suck at maths
