    Sorry to hear about this. It seems there is a theme of it being the retail/supermarket sector, perhaps you should consider looking for work in a different environment?

    get a job that is either part time or when it is the job interview ask them if you can work when you are avaliable

    Luckily nowadays employers tend to just give the dates you worked for libel reasons.

    They have degrees in journalism from Plymouth. The lesson is to be an intelligent kid and get into a good uni for a good course.

    Turning up would be a start, trying not to break the law would be helpful aswell. Why did you walk out of Maccies?

    Nope. They're not all from ex-polys with mickey mouse degrees. 2 of my previous managers were graduates from good universities - one had an LLB and managed the night shift at McDonald's.
