Ladies: (Fashion Disaster) Bought a White midi skirt and it's completely see through? Watch

    Not to mention it has a jet black elastic waist....It was bought online ans got 98% good feedback. It's the perfect but is see through in daylight (beautiful indoors though).

    That sucks. Can you send it back? Or get a slip/liner for it? They're a bt old lady but as long as the skirt isn't too fitted it shouldn't show too much.

    If it's a quality item take it to a dressmaker to be lined and the black elastic changed for white but if not worth the £25-35 for altering I'd just put it down to experience. I have to get clothes altered all the time so I tend to just buy good quality stuff to make it worth my (mum's) while having them altered.

    I think i'll just have to wear it with a maxi top or something..... or maybe under another skirt in winter.

    Wear a slip under it if your really uncomfortable with it being see through
