Just wandering, what would constitute as satisfactory quality? Would an attribute say loading capacity of a van count?

say if a you said at the contract of sale, the van you want to buy must be more than X cm for loading capacity and when its delivered its less than what you said, would that be deemed as satisfactory quality?

If you're interested, my scenario posted on my other thread: is http://www.thestudentroom.co.uk/show....php?t=3906245

I know there is an issue of description, but i was wandering is it also an issue of satisfactory quality?

Look at the SGA or SGSA, they give a good starting point.

In short, if you buy something, such as a router, which is capable of 1000Mbps, and bought it upon reliance of that then it should be able to do that. If it can't, there is breach of contract.

The question is 'are you getting what you asked for?' If the answer is no, then chances are there has been a breach.
