I used to make loads of flashcards with quotes and theories on them so it would be easier to remember them.
I also used to record myself saying my notes on my phone so I could listen to my notes whilst walking to and from school

For Literature, It'd be extremely beneficial for you to re-read the books you are going to cover in the exams, making sure that you know as much about it s possible and are able to place exact quotes in your answer/s. For both aspects of English, reading any book which can challenge your ability will help; you'll find out the meaning of words you haven't come across before, and your reading speed will increase(this is very useful in an exam).

Literature - memorize character profiles for both books you are studying, re-read the books thoroughly and be familiar with the plot, and make mind maps concerning all the themes etc. For the poetry cluster just know how to decrypt a poem on its meaning and subliminal messages lol so knowing the key features (enjambment, iamb pentemeter etc.) and just know the key features to all the poems you want to study.

For language, also know the key features to a news articles, the purpose of certain nouns, the use of juxtaposition etc. Make mind maps for this also, also enhance your vocab
