    Hello,

I have a question. I just moved from Ireland last September. Currently half way through my first year of 2 - BTEC Level 3 Diploma in IT at Southgate College. I have done my Junior Certificate (GCSE's equivalent) and Leaving Certificate (I think its like AS Levels from what I heard but I did 2 years of my final school year for Leaving Certificate. So because of this they put me directly into L3. My question is If I get passes not M or D in all my Units for BTEC, Can I progress to University? Basically I didnt fail any Units bit I didn't get all M's or D"s so far ... Or what if I fail a unit during the course of the 2 years? Basically would this GCSE's and AS Levels help me to progress??
Anyway if anyone has extra time to double check for me what Irish Leaving Certificate is equivalent is to UK, I did 7 subjects for the Leaving Certificate and got a B and C in Maths and English
    and C's in GCSE.
