C2 Logs Maths OCR watch

1. The question is:

The curve Y = 2*3^x intersects the curve y=8^x at the point P.
Show that the x-coordinate of P may be written as 1/( 3- log2 (3) ).

I've done this so far:
2*3^x = 8^x
Log2(2*3^x) = log2(8^x)
Log2(2*3^x)= x log2 (8)

What should i do next how do i simplify the left side Thanks
2. I've worked it out:
Log2(2)+log2(3^x)=x log2(8)
1+xLog2(3)=xlog2(8)
1=xlog2(8)-xlog2(3)
1=3-log2(3)
1/( 3- log2(3) ) the answer
