What are your slightly unrealistic goals in life? watch

My *very* unrealistic goal is meeting my A*AA offer to read philosophy at Cambridge. It honestly seems so unlikely that I almost wish they had rejected me straight off. The fact there is still a possibility of me going has given me a disproportionate amount of hope. I know I'm going to be crushed when I miss my grades.

Why do you think you'll miss your grades?
You wouldn't have gotten an offer if they didn't think you were capable

That's so kind of you to say but I'm really not confident about getting the A*. I'm pretty much guaranteed not to get lower than an A in any of my subjects, given my high UMS last year. But I feel as though I just got lucky last year and I won't get over 90% in any of my subjects this year.

well money has no intrinsic value, it's literally paper. its value is the trust that people have in it, aka "I trust that if i sell this shirt for a £5 note, i can then trade this £5 note for something of equal value in the future"

the money itself is worthless, but you trust that you can exchange it for wealth. money is potential wealth.

    ~ **** the tories ~
While I'm not keen on the Tories either, they didn't exactly invent the concept of money
